The goal of Dynamic Effort is to develop speed and force, aka getting the bar off your chest and back down. . . I highlighted the pair of dumbbells, this is the “pegs” setup. Use minimum 40s or whatever heavy dumbbells, and you double poop the band over the bar on both sides, keeping constant tension. Now, I am in a commercial gym, and I am mindful of what I’m doing, so I usually take heavier weights and I’m strict with my rest time, which is 30 seconds.
